We have had a busy couple of days. We are excited that Uncle Nick is getting married tomorrow! We also went to the pediatricians office for a well child appointment and he was pleased with everything. He said his lungs sounded clear and a lot better than he expected. Mason weighed in at 10 lbs 3 oz! We met with an agency called Kids path that is going to have a nurse come out and a social worker the will coordinate any special needs we might have. What a blessing!
Mason also decided to stay up a bunch last night fussing and demanding our attention. He wanted us to hold him. He isn't spoiled. So all is well, we are just tired. Corbin is doing pretty good but also had a restless night as well. We are praying for a better night overall considering our big day tomorrow. Thank you for your continued prayers of healing and adjustment for our boys. We are praying for an eventful free winter!
Lauren, it is truly amazing how you have kept up with this blog. I admire you so much. I am so thrilled to hear all of this, so happy for you guys and thankful for the services that are being offered to you all. I know you are so thankful. Thank you for taking the time to write almost every day and keep us all informed, our thoughts are constantly with you and your family.

ReplyDeleteGlad Mason's appointment went so well and you are getting set up with Kidspath. Sounds great! Sorry about the lack of sleep but I am sure it wasn't so bad having to snuggle this little guy. Hope everyone got a bit more sleep last night though! :) Up to 10lbs 3oz? Wow, that is awesome! Love the photos. He is adorable!

ReplyDeleteSo excited to hear you will be working with KidsPath! Such a blessing to be able to keep him out of the doctor's offices as much as possible. KidsPath has been such a blessing to our family through Julia's cancer, multiple surgeries, home health needs, PTSD, grief counseling, sibling of special needs sibs, etc. They are a gift straight from God for our entire family. Remember they are there for all of you. Aside from home health nursing everyone in our family has received counseling and services. Congratulations on bringing home your little miracle Mason!!
