Going into surgery

As I write this I can hardly believe it myself. We are on our way to the hospital. Mason is going into surgery as we speak. X-ray this morning showed free air which means another perforation. Blood cultures also came back positive for gram negative rods. Mason is very sick. Please share and pray with as many people as possible. I will update later after surgery.

  1. Psalm 91 is good for times like this.

  2. I have never commented before but I have been reading and praying for Mason since he was born. I am praying and will continue to pray for your sweet miracle boy. Please let us know how he is doing.

  3. I don't know you and you don't know me, but I am praying for your little guy today. I have been in your shoes. My daughter was born with a congenital heart defect and had 5 open heart surgeries to correct the defect before she passed away when she was 29 days old. I know the agony of driving to the hospital and sitting in the waiting room to hear some news; any news. I know that you are praying without ceasing. Your little guy has made it a long way and overcome many obstacles already. Although my little girl is no longer with us, I know that her life had a very special purpose and that she, and her story, and our story touched a lot of people, and I know that Mason and his story have touched others as well. I hope maybe my words are of some small comfort to you today.
