Odds and ends

Wanted to do a quick update and show you Mason's new glasses. He just got them this week and has been trying to adjust to them. Most of the time he does well but there are times he will become annoyed with them (especially when it is nearing nap time or bed time). It does seen to be helping though. Yesterday Josh was holding him and looking in the mirror and he was looking at himself and would smile and then hide his face. We will see!

Tonight we attended Women hospital's nicu reunion. It was great to see some of the people that were there for us during the beginning of our journey. We also want to thank everyone else again for all of your prayers and support! It really means a lot and we appreciate your continued prayers as Mason is developing. We got to hang out with Mason's first "room mate" Rhodes. We unfortunately never got their picture together while in the NICU but we did tonight!

Mason speaks

Mason has been "talking" more and more here lately. It is so interesting to hear his voice. I finally got some of it on video (even though the quality is poor). Usually he is talking away and then when I turn on the video he stops. Typical. At the end of the video he says, "Dada." Yay for our sweet boy!

Pool time

This afternoon we headed down to the pool for some fun! Corbin's best buddy, James even got to come. The boys had fun splashing in the water and climbing up and down the ladder. Of course, they still had their eye on the playground!

Mason enjoyed some pool action as well! He seems to like the water now and today, he realized he could kick in the water! And he was kicking both legs (remember brain bleed, meningitis). Below is a short video:
