Transition and change

We have had a lot of change here in the Matthews' household with therapist leaving, retiring, or moving and today we said goodbye to Rachel, Mason's CNA for a year and a half! We are going to miss her but wish her the best!
So tonight we had to lighten it up a bit and Mason was glad to help out! This boy cracks me up and I'm sure he would show off his dance moves! I try to get a video of him dancing in his gait trainer but he stops when I turn on my camera! Crazy boy! We love our boys and they are silly! This kid has so much joy in his heart and I love how it shines! We wish everyone the most blessed new year and I am going to try to update more! Lots more changes coming for us in the new year!

Boys with Santa

This year we went to Denton Farm park to ride the Christmas train. We had a great time and the boys got to see Santa. While we were waiting in line, Corbin asked each one of us what we wanted so he could tell Santa. He has been asking for a play/tree house this year and a new car. Here is a picture of the boys:

Progress in feeding

We have been working hard on getting Mason to eat! He can eat up to 30-50 ml of purée food a day! We are also trying some graham crackers and soft chew foods. He loves to make a mess and try to feed himself!

This boy is a mess!!!!

First day of pre-k

Today was Corbin's first day of Pre-k. Can't believe he is getting so big and growing so fast. We love this boy!

Ray Ray

It's been one week since we had to say goodbye. We miss you but are so glad to have everyday that we had with you. Our boys got to learn from your kind and giving demeanor. Tonight, as I was putting Corbin to bed, he said, "Mommy I sure do love Ray Ray." I'm so thankful for the assurance that we will see you in heaven again!

Red solo cup

See that red solo cup? That is our "rigged up" blow by oxygen for the night. Mason (and we all ) are  really struggling to get over this cold. And yes, we are rocking our Christmas jammies no matter what time of year it is. That is how we roll! #myhusbandisagenius #sooverthiscold #readyforagoodnightssleep

Happy Valentine's day

This boy enjoyed his treat!

Snow day

We had fun in the snow yesterday and I finally took Mason out in it. He seemed to  enjoy it. Corbin has really been wanting to make an igloo and I never thought we would get enough snow for it but we sure did!
