One Month Old

Corbin loves to stare at the animals
So I know it is a little overdue but I wanted to share some of Corbin when he was 1 month old. We have had so much fun learning/figuring him out. He is quite the snuggly little boy and loves to be held close and will push up so that his head is right under your chin-such a sweet boy. At 3 weeks he went through quite the growth spurt and ate about every 2 hours-that was a lot for mom! She is not looking forward to 6 weeks (a lot of friends have said a growth spurt occurs at 3, 6, 9 weeks of age). During this month he learned to take the bottle and the passy-it was fun to see Josh be able to feed him some and give his momma a break! He has started cooing and grunting to communicate with us-too bad we can't tell what he is saying. He loves to stare at the animals above his car seat and bassinet and will also bat at the with his hands. He also loves to be outside and will look around and listen at all the sounds. We are sure glad of that because we all pretty much live outside. He seems to be a happy boy and we sure do feel blessed!

First Fly In

On Corbin's 2 week old "birthday" we made a trip out to CCRC's Annual Fly-in event to enjoy some big airplanes and fun times. It was a perfect day to be outside-a little warm but there was a nice breeze. Josh set up the big tent so that Corbin and I could be in the shade--didn't want that little boy to get too hot! Josh enjoyed getting to show off his little man and Corbin got his first taste of the big airplanes. With the way time is flying I am sure it won't be too much longer before Corbin learns to fly his first airplane.
